Description

1962 Bentley S2 Continental Convertible

This remarkably rare and desirable 1962 Bentley S2 Continental Convertible is one of only 125 cars made by Park Ward and one of only 62 to be produced in right hand drive format.

The car has been subjected to a complete body off chassis restoration to concours standards and is supported by a comprehensive photographic history detailing, body, chassis, interior, engine and chrome work. The underside of the car is as good as the top and the engine bay is detailed to the highest standard.

Presented in its original colour of metallic Shell Grey, trimmed in the highest quality Bridge of Weir Premium Cranberry Leather, Wilton leather edged carpets and immaculately restored burr walnut dash and door cappings, the car is in as new condition. Even the interior of the glove box is perfect.  The new mohair and wool cloth hood, is accompanied by a leather cover to match the stunning interior. The car comes complete with its original toolkit, driver’s handbook and jack which are neatly housed in the immaculately trimmed boot. With only two previous owners from new and very low mileage of 48,000 it has to be the best available.

When Featured at the NEC Classic Car Show the Maguire’s concourse judge described it as “The best car at the show".

The car resides in the private collection of a very good friend of ours who has bought and sold many cars through Runnymede Motor Company over a period of 20 years and we are marketing the car on his behalf.

In order to appreciate the stunning quality of this rare Bentley, viewing is highly recommended.

Ready to drive for the summer and potentially a lucrative investment the car is competitively priced at only £265,000.
