1961 Aston Martin DB4
1961 Aston Martin DB4 Srs III finished in an interesting shade of British Racing Green with beige hide interior. Acquired by the current owner in 2004 to form part of a substantial collection but virtually unused for the past 13 years. Not exactly a “Barn Find” as with a little fettling we have the car up and running well with excellent oil pressure and no nasty noises. We have dismantled and reassembled the braking system which is now working well and the car handles very well on the road. The current owner is a motoring enthusiast and has participated in numerous events including the Le Mans Classic but not in this car. THe only reason for the race rondles on the doors and bonnet is that he has taken part in a few track days during the early years of ownership. Our pictures display the car without front and rear bumpers but these will be supplied with the car and are in excellent condition. The car sits on Borrani alloy rimmed wheels shod all round with Pirelli P 4000 radial tyres, all in excellent condition. The interior trim is in very good condition as can be seen from the photographs but the paintwork will require minor attention in one or two areas, hence well priced at only £325,000
