1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 Coupe
1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 finished in original Blue Haze with an exceptionally good interior, in pale grey hide with a recently re-veneered Walnut dash panel and best quality, dark blue Wilton carpet throughout, edged in blue leather and recently re-trimmed. It is one of the last of the original DB2/4’s to be produced, prior to the MkII arriving in late 1956 and hence has the benefit of the larger 2.9 engine which was then carried over to the MkII. Chassis No LML-881 comes with its original engine No VB6J-353 which according to the file was the subject of a complete rebuild as part of a £120,000 restoration carried out by “The Aston Workshop” prior to being sold to the last owner. Within the accompanying history file, are a good number of recent invoices amounting to over £18,000 on upgrades during the last 3 years. The car has had only 6 owners in 68 years and presents in superb condition and is a pleasure to drive. Not expensive in todays market at £145,000
