Description

2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante

This very desirable DB9 Volante is a wonderful grand tourer and fabulous to drive on long Continental trips. This model was built for 12 years between 2004 and 2016, hand assembled at Gaydon in Warwickshire. Originally penned by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker, two designers famous for the concept designs of the Escort Cosworth, RS200, BMW Z8 and many more. With a much sharper design than its prececessor the DB7, it was fitted with the 5.9L V12 and is of aluminium construction and offering outstanding performance. The DB9 was the first model to be built at Aston Martin's then new Gaydon facility in Warwickshire, and it received an excellent reception from the press when launched.

This particular example has covered a mere 41,000 miles in 18 years, averaging just 2,300 miles per annum and the condition is closer to a 3 year old car. Hence it has lead a pampered existance compared to lots on the market and therefore inexpensive at £32,950
