1968 Aston Martin DBS
1968 Aston Martin DBS6 finished in rare Celeste blue with Navy blue hide interior. Only 20 cars were ever painted from new in this delightful colour. This car is in lovely condition, largely due to the fact that when it was only 30 months old it was exported to the sunnier climes of New Zealand where it remained in the hands of 2 owners until 1976 when it was sold to an enthusiastic car collector who kept it until 2018 when it was purchased by the current owner. Since being repatriated into the UK, it has had the benefit of a complete repaint by Richards of England, the installation of a 5 speed Tremac gearbox, a new stainless steel exhaust and new Koni shock absorbers all round. Other works have included new sills, new door seals, new king pin gaiters, new upper wishbone bushes, new Anti-roll bar bushes and a new rubber steering coupling. It comes complete with a copy of the original build sheet, a heritage certificate confirming matching numbers, the original tool kit and rare original fire extinguisher.
