1965 Ford Mustang Notchback

1965 Ford Mustang Notchback Race car meticulously prepared by a previous owner for competitive historic motorsport. This beautifully built Mustang race car was constructed by two highly qualified engineers for their personal use at huge expense. The body is a rust free shell taken back to bare metal before being painted in dark metallic green. Fitted with full roll cage and in-date 5 point safety harness and in-date Recaro Pro-race race seat with side wings. 302 Block stroked engine producing 430 BHP with Eagle 374 Stroker crank and matching rods, Edelbrock alloy cylinder heads, MSD ignition, 80 litres fuel capacity. Supplied with 8 matching wheels. Recent replacements include a new fuel pump, 4 new race tyres and a new Tilton 3 plate competition clutch. This is a really quick mustang with a huge a huge specification which can be viewed on request and is ready to race. Having carried out a recent inspection of the underside of this fine Mustang it is easy to see why the build cost was way beyond our recently reduced asking price. Now something of a bargin at only. ....£49,950
