1969 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage

1969 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage finished in Dubonnet Rosso with contrasting pale beige hide interior. This is an original factory Vantage which has had only 3 owners from new, the last of whom is an enthusiastic lady member of the Aston Martin Owners Club who purchased it in 2003.. She has used the car for numerous events organised by the club and during her ownership has had the car regularly maintained with various well known marque specialists, all of which is recorded within the well-kept history file. Built from new to Vantage specification, this is one of only 69 genuine RHD Vantages with the 5 speed ZF gearbox making it very rare indeed. Recorded within the chronologically kept history file is the fact that in 1970 when the car was only one year old, the wheel arches were flared in line with the new design of the DB6 MkII which appeared that year. At the same time, the gear lever was also replaced with a MkII gear lever. From the condition of this car and the extensive number of invoices contained within the history file it is evident that this car has always been cherished and meticulously maintained and it is a delight to drive. Although DB6 prices have levelled out over the past 18 months, the Vantage version remains the most desirable and this car is now represents very good value at £250,000
