1978 MG MGB GT V8
This incredibly quick, uprated Sebring style MGB GT V8 has arrived with us having been built to an impressive high specification in 2017/2018. Since completion the MG has covered in the region of only 1000 miles.. The bodyshell has been prepared and de-seamed and painted Grey Metallic with Black Racing stripes. With no bumpers, Sebring style front and rear end including headlamp covers, Black mesh grill and Minilight style wheels, the MG is a real impressive looking car with a modernised, race look and feel.
The MG has been fitted with a 3.5 Rover V8 engine with a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburettor and Offenhauser inlet manifold and has a five speed gearbox. The V8 boasts tubular headers with a stainless steel twin exhaust system, remote oil filter, front mounted oil cooler, twin kenlowe adjustable fan and the engine bay has been very well prepared and nicely detailed. A great deal of expenditure has gone into fitting a V8 differential, poly bushed suspension, adjustable rear Spax shock absorbers, front and rear anti roll bars and uprated front brake discs with AP calipers, Coolant hoses have been replaced, four new Avon tyres fitted and a new water pump has also been fitted to the car.
The interior was stripped out and Red and Black bucket seats fitted, a rear anti roll cage was also fitted and then nicely finished with Red carpets, painted dashboard and leather steering wheel. The MG also has a heater and sound system. On the road DYB 947T is super quick and the V8 engine is super strong having just been completely overhauled by our own technicians. This MG offers blistering performance and has a fabulous exhaust note. DYB 94T is fantastic fun and a car that can be really enjoyed. Sensibly priced for a car of this calibre at £18,950
