Description

2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S

2005 Aston Martin Vanquish "S", presented in metallic Nero Daytona with Obsidian Black leather interior. Three owners from new and one of just 1,086 'S' models ever produced. The Vanquish"S" is the last model produced by Aston Martin at their Newport Pagnell works, ending 49 years of continuous production. The Vanquish in either standard or S specification is now a highly collectable motor car. This example has covered omly 32,000 miles and has been meticulously maintained by Aston Martin Works Service and then by renowned specialist Desmond Smail. A comprehensive folder full of invoices in chronological order dating back to the car's initial registration is included in the sale, along with the original stamped service book, old MOTs and much more. Aston Martin Works carried out the first three services and installed the official switchable exhaust valve option (allowing the driver to manually hold the exhausts in their louder 'open' position at the touch of a button) which is popular among enthusiasts. Following official Works service care, the car was entrusted to Desmond Smail, whose reputation speaks for itself. Almost immediately Desmond Smail were instructed to remove the undertray s for rustproofing treatment, along with a fresh set of tyres. In the following years as it transitioned to its third owner, Desmond Smail were instructed to install a full Xenon headlight conversion, brake upgrades, new fuel lines, numerous services and so much more. Total bills with Desmond Smail alone, all meticulously documented in the folder, come to a little over £22,000 over the past 10 years. The car has recently been serviced again by well known Aston specialists McGurk Performance who are based in Warwickshire and again renowned for excellent work. Additionally to this service, their health check advised replacing the rear tyres and front brake discs and pads and both items have now been fitted.  Rather than fit standard front discs again that have in the past proved to be of a troublesome design, we instructed David Such at V12Vanquish.com to supply the latest upgrade for the front brake discs and pads. This modified disc is a second generation of the design fitted earlier by Desmond Smail and replaces the troublesome standard floating disc design. A superb modification for the next owner. Overall the condition of this car is superb and is backed up by servicing and maintenance records from the best in the business. The bodywork is exceptional and the interior to shows no signs of wear. All of the systems operate correctly and the car is supplied with its original book pack, umbrella and 12 months clean MOT certificate with no advisories. We are of the opinion that what we have here is probably the best early Vanquish "S" currently for sale and very competitively priced at £79,950
