1969 Jaguar E Type Series II 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe, beautifully finished in Dark Blue with contrasting Oatmeal hide interior. It is a matching numbers, UK supplied example as is confirmed by the Jaguar Heritage certificate that accompanies the car. Purchased 24 years ago back in 1999 by the most recent owner, as a drivable car requiring improvement. From the extremely well documented history file dating back to the early 70’s, numerous improvements were carried out between 1999 and 2016 when he decided to “Bite the Bullet” and have a full body restoration carried out. He instructed a very capable restoration company in Canterbury who completely stripped the body and replaced both floor pans and cut out any other corroded areas. A new bonnet was supplied and fitted together with all new ancillaries and the whole car was then repainted to a high standard. The car has remained in very nice condition ever since and the standard of workmanship was excellent throughout the project. Not Expensive at £57,500
