1935 Austin 10
I’m now venturing into completely unknown territory with this amazing little Austin 10 about which I know very little of the marque, apart from the fact that my father owned something similar when I was a kid. I remember sitting in it one day when I was about 8 years old and letting the hand brake off, an event which almost became my first car accidentt. More of that later.
We have been asked to find a new home for this lovely little 1935 Austin 10 by the son-in-law of the now deceased owner which had been in his Father-in-Law’s ownership since 1973 and completely restored by him back in 1985. It comes with oodles of paperwork including 30 Mot certificates and a comprehensive record of the restoration costs. Only now being offered for sale due to lack of space.
These pretty little cars still have a considerable following and one in this exceptional condition with numerous rosettes for "Best in Show" at various events, is currently a very rare find indeed. Sensibly priced at £9,999.19 shillings& 6 pence.
