1959 Aston Martin DB4 Series1
This 1959 Aston Martin DB4 Series One is another exceptional example that we are privileged to bring to the market. It has covered a mere 545 miles since being the subject of a full restoration by Chris Woodgate at Silverstone. Embarked upon on a “No expense spared” basis, the resulting motor car is exceptional in every respect and in our opinion hugely under-priced, even in today’s challenging marketplace.
Finished in Aegean Blue with full black hide interior, this matching numbers DB4 is also enhanced by some sensible upgrades including triple SU’s to the completely rebuilt original engine with the cubic capacity now extended to 4.7 litres. The original gearbox has also been completely stripped and rebuilt, and a larger brake servo unit and larger front brake calipers are also fitted. The engine cooling has been addressed by the presence of an oil cooler and the fitting of a larger capacity water radiator. Whilst the original cooling fan remains in place it also now has an electric fan for extreme conditions. Other items have included best quality, leather edged Wilton carpet to the whole car including inside the boot. The sound system is via a 5 push button Motorola period radio, expertly upgraded to receive both AM and FM stations. I could go on but suffice to say that there is no room for disappointment in the quality of this fine motor car. Seriously inexpensive for one in this exceptional condition at £295,000
